Super Mario and Flappy Bird is Back with New Exciting Features

By Jaycee • Thursday, April 16, 2020

There is always a craving for old games that many have spent their childhood on, as some companies sometimes revive some past games by launching a new version that can work on existing gaming platforms. Two weeks ago, a developer moved this craving to a more extreme level by launching the Battle version Royal is one of the famous Super Mario Bros games. Several days ago, other developers started a version of the Flappy Bird style Battle Royale also.

Battle Royal games' popularity has increased a lot in the recent period, as most companies have directed to launch new games in the Battle Royal style or to update some of the previously existing games to include this style. Still, the launch of the Battle Royal style for old and light games such as Flappy Bird and Mario is exciting.

In this article, we'll talk about how to play these two games and get them.

Mario Royale game

Almost two weeks ago, the YouTube and developer known as Infrenoplus announced the Mario Royal game, the Battle Royale version of Super Mario Bros, which is the most famous among the other series of Mario games took him only three weeks to design the game.

How to play in Mario Royale

The principle of the game is not different from the other Battle Royale games, where 75 players compete to reach the end of the game and kill the dragon, but instead of the well-known princess kidnapped by the dragon, you will find three places that determine the first three winners when they climb on them. No player can influence or kill the other except in a few cases, such as obtaining a star that allows its owner to kill another player just by touching it. In addition to the fact that known threats such as ducks, fires, dragons, and falling will cause the owner to lose, of course.

The game is available on all computers for free, and you only need to play it with a browser and an internet connection. It does not require creating an account or adding any other information. All you have to do is go to the game's website Infernoplus.com and choose your name, and then you can start playing. You can play Mario Royal via the keyboard or through the game players' control grip. The game contains some errors, but the developer updates them and fixes them almost daily.

Copyright issue with Nintendo

The Japanese game company Nintendo owns the main version of the game (Super Mario Bros) and dozens of other Mario games, and just as programs, songs, and books. The games are also subject to copyright laws, which means that the developer who published and modified it did not have the right to do so. Still, he was fully aware that he was violating game copyright, as stated this via the game's video that he posted on his YouTube channel and wished Nintendo would not prosecute him for the act.

Unfortunately, his wishes were not fulfilled as he wanted, as the company did not prosecute him (at least until the date of writing this article). It forced him to delete Mario Royal per US DMCA laws on copyright a week after the game was launched. However, the developer re-published the game after adding some modifications to it and changing its name to Infringio Royale to circumvent copyright laws.

But after a few days and as expected, Nintendo again forced them to delete the new version of the game. Infrenoplus stated via the game's website that the company's lawyers had informed him that the new version was still violating the original game copyright and would not be allowed to keep it even after adding many amendments to it.

The developer is unlikely to release a new version for fear of legal action against him and will provide additional details in the coming weeks through his YouTube channel.

Flappy Royale game

The Flappy Bird game became very popular when it was launched in 2013, as it obtained millions of downloads from the App Store and Google Play, and achieved enormous profits from watching the ads it was displaying. In 2014, the developer removed the game from the store and stated that the reason for this is that many users are very addicted to playing it.

The game has already caused addiction to many players, but it is unknown if this is the primary reason it was removed from the store. Deleting Flappy Bird from the store did not prevent many developers from imitating it. Google Play and the App Store were filled with a lot of similar games, the last of which was several days ago after game developers Orta Therox and Em Lazer-Walker launched the Battle Royal version of this game Under the name Flappy Royale.
